Poundworld opens store

CUT-price retailer Poundworld has opened its new Edinburgh store, creating 30 jobs.

The store at Hermiston Gait Retail Park, which welcomed its first customers yesterday is the chain’s 130th outlet.

There is already a Poundworld store at Cameron Toll shopping centre.

Marketing director Martyn Birks said: “We’re really delighted to be opening a new store in Edinburgh.”
