Video: Recapping ‘100 Weeks of Scotland’

PHOTOGRAPHER Alan McCredie set out to capture 100 aspects of Scottish life in the 100 weeks leading up to next month’s independence referendum - as his marathon project nears its end, he looks back at some of his favourite photos so far.

McCredie’s goal was to chronicle two years of Scottish life in the run-up to the independence referendum, and in this video Alan recaps some of his highlights as well as reflecting on the project itself.

McCredie launched the ‘100 weeks of Scotland’ website in October 2012, and the project will conclude in Autumn 2014 with a print version, published by Luath Press, to be released shortly afterwards.
