Video: Professor John Curtice on the independence referendum

Speaking at the first in a series of Scotsman conferences on the independence referendum, Professor John Curtice of the University of Strathclyde gives an illuminating analysis of the technicalities of the poll.

Professor Curtice, one of Scotland’s leading political and polling experts, demonstrates that a poll of polls shows that independence, the status quo and devo max are neck and neck, although further powers for the Scottish Parliament is the favoured outcome when put in a straight two-way question.

He also proposes a two-question format for the referendum which would settle any constitutional confusion in the years to come.
