Video: Festival of Politics 2014 highlights

THIS YEAR’S Festival of Politics focussed on the upcoming independence referendum and gave those who attended the opportunity to hear expert opinion and debate surrounding both sides of the argument.

The Parliament’s presiding officer, Tricia Marwick, who was in attendance, hailed the versatility of the Scottish Parliament building in hosting such events, saying that it would be “difficult to replicate the success of events such as the Festival of Politics anywhere else”.

The vibrant cafe bar in the Parliament’s garden lobby also returned for the second year running.
