STV hosted a debate between Alex Salmond and Alistair Darling earlier this month, which was reportedly watched by more than 1.7 million people.

The BBC are set to host a second debate between the campaign figureheads on Monday. The BBC debate, broadcast live from Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery, will be shown on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.

‘Yes or No - The Debate’ will be broadcast live on STV from 8pm on 2 September, and will be repeated on ITV1 throughout the UK from 10:40pm.
