£320m spending plan for Moray

ONE of Scotland’s smallest local authorities, Moray Council, has unveiled ambitious plans for a £320 million spending programme over the next ten years.

The plans include a £52m programme of improvements across the school estate – including £14m to build a new Elgin High School within the next four years – a £72m programme of improvements to roads and a £40m flood alleviation scheme for Forres.
