Lib Dem returns to law

DEFEATED Liberal Democrat candidate Fred Mackintosh is to return to full-time legal work, joining advocates' stable Terra Firma Chambers from next month.

Mr Mackintosh contested the marginal Edinburgh South seat.

But he failed to win the seat and is now to resume his career as an advocate.
