Police in street appeal over murder

PEDESTRIANS are going to be questioned by police this week following the murder of a man in Glasgow.

Andrew Curran received fatal injuries following a disturbance in Maryhill Park, at about 9:30pm on 16 April.

Detective Chief Inspector Grahame Clarke said: "We are now one week into this inquiry and this operation will give us the opportunity to speak to people who were in the park and its vicinity around this particular time.

"Hopefully, we can jog their memories into remembering something they may have seen or heard which could assist our inquiries.

"A team of officers is working around the clock on this inquiry to identify the person or persons responsible for this terrible crime. Extra uniform officers will maintain a presence in the area."
