Police seize £100k of drugs in Dundee

OFFICERS from Police Scotland’s new organised crime and counter terrorism unit have seized illegal drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 following raids at two properties in Dundee.

The drugs – heroin and cannabis resin – were seized from two properties in the Douglas and Charleston areas of the city on Monday.

A spokesman for the Tayside Division of Police Scotland said: “Three men, aged 36, 35 and 17 and a 26-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.” All four are due in court in Dundee today.

Detective Chief Inspector Colin Gall said: “This is the result of Police Scotland’s continued focus on disrupting the supply of drugs. We will continue to target those individuals.”
