Police probe grope claims

POLICE are investigating an alleged sexual assault in a public lift at Ocean Terminal shopping centre last Thursday.

A man in his late 40s is alleged to have indecently assaulted a 21-year-old woman at the complex.

It is alleged the woman was groped repeatedly and offered money to perform sexual acts.

Both are understood to be employees of the centre and were on duty at the time of the incident.

The alleged offender is employed in a management position.

Police said inquiries were ongoing.
