Police probe Glasgow body find

An investigation was under way today after a woman's body was found in a flat, police said.

Officers are treating the death of the 31-year-old woman as suspicious.

The woman's body was found at around 11.20pm last night in a flat in Burnfield Road, Thornliebank, near Glasgow, Strathclyde Police said.

"A post-mortem examination will be held later today to establish the exact cause of death," a spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said.

No further details about the woman were released.
