Police in New York hunt wheelchair bank robber
IT may not have been the fastest getaway, but police are trying to brake the case of a man in a wheelchair who robbed a New York City bank.
The robbery happened at the Santander bank in Queens, shortly after 2pm local time.
A man in his late 20s and wearing a grey hoodie wheeled himself into the bank and passed a note to the cashier demanding money.
After receiving more than 1,200 dollars (£765), he fled westbound on Broadway in the wheelchair and remains at large.
