Police name men wanted over north east ATM thefts

POLICE Scotland today released photographs of two men from Liverpool they are seeking in connection with a spate of ATM raids in the North east of Scotland.

The men being sought were named as Kevin Schruyers, and Robin Vaughan, both aged 40.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Detectives from the Aberdeenshire and Moray Division of the Police Service of Scotland are investigating crimes of dishonesty in the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire areas including a recent series of attempted thefts from ATM machines in that area.

“Detectives wish to speak urgently to Kevin Charles Schruyers, aged 40, and Robin Vaughan, aged 40. They are known to have been living in the Aberdeenshire area but information suggests they have returned to Liverpool and may be in the Huyton or Kirkby areas of the city.”

He continued: “Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on the 101 non-emergency line or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 quoting Operation Thrip.”
