Police name cyclist killed in crash with lorry

THE cyclist who died in a road accident with a lorry in Edinburgh yesterday has been named by police.

Iain Wilson, 35, from Duddingston, was killed in the accident at the corner of Nicolson Street and West Richmond Street at around 9.30am.

The collision happened as the cyclist was turning left into Nicolson Street from West Richmond Street.

Police have issued a fresh appeal for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
