A 57-YEAR-OLD man from the Capital has gone missing.

Police are appealing for information to help trace Malcolm Lamb, who is believed to have travelled to Aberdeen by public transport last weekend to attend a church service.

He planned to travel back to Leith on Sunday, but has not returned home and concern is growing for his welfare.

He may have been seen walking on North Bridge at around 9pm on Wednesday.

Malcolm is described as white, 5ft 9 inches tall, of slim build, with short grey hair and green eyes.

He has a Birmingham accent and a stammer.

He was last seen wearing a black zip jacket, black trousers, black shoes and a black bowler hat.

Sergeant Mark Coull said: “Since Malcolm travelled to Aberdeen, he has not returned to his residence and had not been in touch with those closest to him, which is out of character.

“We’re eager to establish that he is safe and well and anyone who believes that they may have seen him since Sunday, or has any information regarding his whereabouts, is urged to get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
