Police issue pills warning

Police in West Lothian are warning the public about missing medication.

They said 200 capsules of Hydroxyurea, prescribed for the treatment of haematological cancers, were lost in Livingston on Tuesday. The large, white capsules are in plain coloured boxes bearing the brand name “Hydroxycarbamide”.

Police say the medication would have unpleasant side effects if taken in small amounts and could be life-threatening in large quantities.
