Police are appealing for information after a woman was raped in night-time attack.

The 37-year-old was attacked in Glasgow’s Queen’s Park in the south side of the city around 11pm on 30 March.

Police yesterday cordoned off entrances to the park as they began their investigation. Officers have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything to come forward.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said officers were keen to speak to anyone who had witnessed anything suspicious. She said: “Inquiries are at an early stage to establish more details on this incident. We would ask anyone who was in the park late on Wednesday 30 March from 11pm and witnessed the assault or anyone acting suspiciously to contact London Road police office on 101.”
