Police hunt for night attacker

POLICE in Inverness are looking for a man who attacked a woman in the city in the early hours of yesterday.

The assault happened near Friars Bridge at Shore Street at around 2am.

A Northern Constabulary spokesman said: "We would like to speak to anyone who has information in relation to this incident, and in particular to a male who is described as being 30 to 35 years old, with short dark hair, tanned complexion, wearing a beige-coloured jacket."
