Police in hunt for mugger

A DISABLED woman has been assaulted and robbed in a “sickening” incident.

The 52-year-old, who has Huntingdon’s Disease, was walking in West Granton Road on Thursday morning when the attacker approached her from behind, grabbed her handbag and pulled it so hard that she fell to the ground.

The robber then made off with her bag, which contained cash and personal belongings.

The thief is white, about 5ft and skinny. They wore dark trousers and a dark hooded top with the hood pulled up to hide their face.
