COCAINE and amphetamine worth £154,000 and a replica firearm have been seized during a blitz on drug-dealing.

Operation Altogether saw police raid properties in Dumbiedykes last week, making four arrests.

A 49-year-old man was arrested after the three kilogrammes of cocaine and amphetamine were recovered along with £400 cash in Viewcraig Street. A replica firearm was sent for destruction.

Officers searched a property in Holyrood Court, and found a personal quantity of diazepam. A 28-year-old man was charged.

A 33-year-old man was arrested after being searched in Viewcraig Gardens last Wednesday, and a quantity of cannabis was recovered.

And on Thursday in Dumbiedykes Road, personal quantities of cannabis were seized and a 37-year-old man was charged.

Detective Inspector Stuart Harkness said: “This should send a clear message that we will not tolerate drug crime in any form and will actively respond to any intelligence we receive from our communities.”
