Police death probe closes

THE police investigation into the deaths of a mother and son in the Capital has now closed.

Officers have confirmed that a report on the deaths of Michelle Stephen, 31, and son Leon Weston, five, has been sent to the procurator fiscal.

It is understood that detectives are not looking to speak to any other individual in connection with the discovery.

Their bodies were found at an address in Parkhead Grove, Sighthill, last month. It is believed Michelle took her own life after suffocating her son.

A joint funeral service will take place on Thursday following a memorial service for Leon.
