Police called over man on North Bridge ledge
A Man had to be led away by police after he climbed onto a ledge at North Bridge.
Emergency services were scrambled to the incident, which began just after 5pm, with three police cars, two ambulances and two fire engines on the scene.
The bridge was closed to traffic in both directions for a short period while officers spoke to the man.
And just after 6pm a police spokesman said the man had come down from the ledge and was now being spoken to by officers.
Officers confirmed North Bridge was open to traffic as normal.
