Police appeal for information as sex offender goes missing

POLICE are hunting for a registered sex offender who has not been seen for six months, it emerged today.

Davinder Singh was convicted of an offence against a 15-year-old girl in February 2007.

Singh, aged 31, was fined and placed on the sex offenders' register at Falkirk Sheriff Court but has failed to meet the registration requirements.

It is thought he may now be living in England.

Last seen in Falkirk on July 7 last year, Singh had been living in Central Scotland since February 2006.

He has been reported missing and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Central Scotland Police urged anyone who sees him or who knows where he may be to get in touch.

Singh is slim, 5ft 7in, has black hair, brown eyes and is of Indian appearance.
