Police appeal for information to help find missing man

Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information to help trace a missing man from the Morningside area.

Matthew Moonie, 20, was last seen on Morningside Road on Tuesday 5 July.

He is described as 6ft tall with a slim build and blonde hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket and trousers.

Sergeant Justin Peters, of Howdenhall Police Station, said: “We are concerned for Matthew’s wellbeing, and given the passage of time our concern is growing.

“We would ask anyone who knows where he is or has any information to contact us.
