Police appeal after boy hurt in attack

A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has been assaulted by a man in his late twenties. He suffered facial injuries in the incident at a war memorial in Fochabers, Moray, at about 8:10pm on Sunday.

Police are appealing for information. The attacker is described as about 5ft 10in and has a broad build; he is slightly tanned with a dark moustache.
