Poland: Cold weather 'bad for Nativity beasts'

THE use of live llamas, donkeys, sheep and Shetland ponies at an outdoors Nativity scene in northern Poland has angered animal rights activists.

They said the freezing weather was bad for the animals' health and urged they be given shelter at least at night.
