Poetry prize for children

Pencaitland and Law primary schools have topped a county-wide poetry competition celebrating East Lothian as a great place to live.

The winning poems will be read at the Saltire 2010 celebrations in St Mary's Church, Haddington on November 28.

Primary school pupils were asked to address the theme 'My East Lothian'. Two top poems were chosen with two others being highly commended.
