Pleasure for pain workers

HEALTH workers who specialise in minimising the pain of patients during physio have been recognised for their work.

The NHS Lothian physiotherapy pain network was hailed for its work in training staff about the importance of the issue.

The three team members were praised by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.

Team leader Orla Crummey said: "This is a very exciting project and we are thrilled to achieve accreditation."
