Some quickfire questions to the star of Payback.

Who would attend your fantasy dinner party? I’d invite Beyoncé – it’d be just me and her. We could get a take-away or, in fact, eat anything she likes.

Whom did you last text? I texted my mate, to say; “Where are you bruv? You’re supposed to be picking me up.”

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given? Everything happens for a reason. It’s a phrase that can help you get your head around any situation.

What’s the worst job you ever had? When I was 17, mowing lawns. No matter how many showers I had, I couldn’t get the smell of grass off.

Who is your favourite fictional character? Batman, from the films.

What are you afraid of? Rats, and big insects. I go to Ayia Napa sometimes, and I hate the insects there.

What situations make you lose your temper? When there’s no common sense, you think, come on, what’s going on here. I see a lot of that when I’m driving around London.

If you could choose a profession to try, what would that be? Why? I can’t think of anything, I feel so blessed to be doing what I’m doing.

What food or drink is always in your fridge? Red Bull, because I have a lot of early mornings.

If you could change something about yourself, what would it be? I’d like to not stress out so much.

If you could travel back in time, where would you go? I’d love to go back to schooldays. Imagine going back, knowing what you know now, you could be the coolest kid in school.

Saturday night or Sunday morning? Saturday night, although I haven’t been out for a while.

Who is the love of your life? My little goddaughter who’s four. She’s learning everything and is a character.
