Percy Mann, a 102 year-old care home resident, who raised a smile in a viral TikTok video received a surprise visit from local police, who turned the sirens on as they applauded him.

The former police officer is resident at Whitecraigs Care Home in Glasgow can just be seen through a window in the video as the police visit to surprise him.

Mr Mann delighted the internet after appearing dancing in a TikTok video with two of the homes carers.

He confesses: “I’m a bit of a fitness maniac.”

A father to 11 children, a grandfather to 20 grandkids and a great grandfather to 16 great grandchildren, Mr Mann has been described by his family as an ‘inspiration’.
