A car crash which occurred in the early hours of Friday morning has killed two men.

Emergency services were called to Windygates Road in Leven, Fife at around 3am after receiving reports of a car colliding with a building.

Two men aged 27 and 29 were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road has remained closed with police in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a report of a car colliding with a building on the Windygates Road, Leven, around 3am on Friday, 17 July, 2020.

"Emergency services attended and two men, aged 27 and 29, were pronounced dead at the scene.

"The road is currently closed while officers are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the crash."
