Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer-inspired stout hits sweet spot with craft beer fans

New beverage from award-winning brewer offers the best of both worlds for lovers of sweet treats and beer.

It's one of Scotland's best-loved biscuits, traditionally served with a cup of tea or coffee and fondly associated with tea breaks and visits to friends and families for more than five decades.

Now, a beer company has launched a new Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer-inspired stout called Metric Tunnox.

The 9.5% Tunnock’s-inspired stout has been created in collaboration with the Craft Beer Channel, and has been made using only traditional brewing ingredients, including eight speciality malts – no adjuncts.

Metric Tunnox has only gone on sale recently, but it seems there's already a lot of love for it, with Scots craft beer specialists The Wee Beer Shop describing it as “one of the fastest selling beers we’ve ever had”.

The Wee Beer Shop say Metric Tunnox is currently sold out due to incredible demand, but you can visit their website here for stock updates.
