Tim Burgess to host Frightened Rabbit listening party on anniversary of Scott Hutchison’s death

Tim Burgess is to host a Frightened Rabbit listening party on the second anniversary of Scott Hutchison’s death.

On 10 May, it will have been two years since Hutchison took his own life.

The Frightened Rabbit frontman's body was found at Port Edgar, near South Queensferry, on May 10 2018 after he was reported missing.

Since mid-March, Charlatans' frontman Burgess has been hosting listening parties on Twitter, with playbacks of classic albums by the likes of Oasis, Blur, The Libertines and Pulp, with the hashtag #timstwitterlisteningparty.

Now, to commemorate the second anniversary of Hutchison’s passing, Burgess has announced he is hosting a Frightened Rabbit listening party, featuring their much-loved The Midnight Organ Fight album.

Instead of tweeting during the listening party, Burgess said: "No tweets from me, no insights. Just the songs. Join us."

Burgess is also encouraging music fans to make donations to Tiny Changes, the mental health charity set up in Edinburgh-born Hutchison's name.

Burgess will host the Frightened Rabbit Twitter listening party on 10 May at 6pm.
