The snow has been falling heavily for the last 24 hours and there are no signs that it will be stopping anytime soon.
The Met Office forecasts that snow showers will continue during the day on Tuesday and into the evening across most of Scotland.
As the weather worsened, one car in Edinburgh even found itself struggling to get up the Royal Mile, requiring the help of a couple of friendly passers-by to help push it up the hill.
