North Lanarkshire tragedy: 67-year-old woman hit by car in fatal crash
A 67-year-old woman has died after being hit by a car in North Lanarkshire.
The woman was struck by a grey Seat Alhambra at around 1.40pm on Saturday.

Hide AdShe had been crossing the B7066 Glasgow and Edinburgh Road close to its junction with Bothwellshields Road near Newhouse.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and her passengers - a man and two children - were uninjured.
Sergeant Craig McDonald, of the Divisional Road Policing Unit based at Motherwell, said: "Our investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has any information that may assist our enquiries to contact us.
"I would also appeal to anyone who was driving on the B7066 around the time of the crash who has dash-cam footage to contact us."
Any information can be passed to police by calling 101 quoting reference number 2071 of August 8.
