Michaela Lee: Appeal launched to find missing Glasgow girl, 12, last seen two days ago

Police Scotland say “concerns are growing” for Michaela’s safety.

Police in Glasgow have launched an appeal to find a missing 12-year-old girl.

Michaela Lee left he home in Easterhouse on Friday 18 September at 11:45am and has not been seen since.

Officers say she is known to frequent the Drumchapel, Knightswood and Yoker areas of Glasgow.

Sergeant Ryan Curran from Easterhouse Police Office said “Our concerns are growing for Michaela due to the length of time she has been out contact. Her family are growing increasingly concerned for her and are keen to have her back safely and as soon as possible.

“She is known to frequent the Drumchapel, Knightswood and Yoker areas of Glasgow. Our enquiries reveal that she is continuing to frequent those areas and I am asking for the community to assist us in tracing her whereabouts.

“She is a 12 year old girl who has now been out of touch for almost two days. I am certain people in the Drumchapel, Knightswood and Yoker communities know this young girl and know where she is.

“I am urging them to come forward and contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number PS20200918-2123”
