The team were successful at the same venue last year when they defeated Australia on their way to winning the competition.

It was the first time Britain had won the Davis Cup since 1936 and they are well on their way to defending their crown after victories against Japan and Serbia in the previous two rounds.

Andy Murray sat out the quarter-final clash with Serbia after winning his third career Grand Slam at Wimbledon as he looked to prepare himself for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janiero. However, he is expected to return to the team for the tie with Argentina.

The semi-final will take over three days between 16 September and 18 September.
