Concern grows for missing Glasgow man as police describe his lack of contact as 'out of character'

The 49-year-old was last seen at the Travelodge hotel on Paisley Road and police are now appealing for information which may help them trace him.

He was reported missing on Friday, December 11 after being out of contact with his family and friends which is apparently very out of character for him.

Mr Fitzpatrick is described as being 5ft 8in and of slim build with greying, short brown hair.

Sergeant Richie Armstrong of Govan Police Station said: "It is out of character for Michael to be out of contact with family members for this length of time and we urge anyone with

information about his whereabouts to get in touch as soon as possible.

"Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting incident 3005 of December 11."
