Banff: Cyclist Rikki Gault, 30, killed after crash with lorry in Aberdeenshire town

The fatal crash occurred on Low Street on Friday.

A 30-year-old man who died following a crash with a lorry in the town of Banff has been named.

Rikki Gault was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after the crash on Low Street and later died of his injuries.

The incident took place at around 2.20 pm on Friday, August 7 and Police are asking anyone who either saw it, or saw either Mr Gault or the lorry before the crash, to come forward.

Anybody who can aid the police in their investigations is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 2066 of August 7.
