Payback time for criminals

RESIDENTS are being asked for their views on how criminals can play their part in improving the community.

West Lothian's Criminal Justice Social Work (CJSW) Service oversees the running of Community Payback Orders, which sees criminals given unpaid work as a part of their sentence.

The CJSW is seeking views on what locals think of its new strategy. It outlines the need to meet appropriate demands made by local communities, maximise environmental impact and reduce the impact of antisocial behaviour.
