Party thug’s stamp attack

A TEENAGER celebrating his 18th birthday left a footprint on a man’s face after stamping on his head.

Shaun Jefferson attacked James Meek after being thrown out of the Mason’s Arms pub in Bathgate, West Lothian.

Livingston Sheriff Court heard that Mr Meek asked a barmaid if she needed help to eject the accused and she said yes.

Jefferson, 18, of Livingston, West Lothian, pleaded guilty repeatedly punching Mr Meek, and stamping on his head on November 15 last year. He was put under supervision for two years and ordered to carry out 210 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation.
