Parks unveil play facilities

NEW play facilities are being opened in parks around the city.

Jewel Park in Bingham has a new climbing wall, bird's nest climbing frame and ball court for sports activities, while Meadowfield Park in Duddingston has a range of equipment including a biodiverse wetland area with a viewing platform.

As the Evening News reported last week, Colinton Mains Park will get a play area for three to 12-year-olds and a sports area for teenagers.
