Pair saddles up for funds

TWO colleagues from a planning consultancy have completed a cycling expedition from the Capital to Newcastle to raise funds for children’s charity, Aberlour.

Tim Ferguson and Richard Phillips, who work for Turley Associates, set off on the
120-mile ride last week from their office on George Street, and finished in Newcastle, where the company was holding its national conference.

Mr Ferguson, associate director, said: “We were keen to try and link up the Turley Associates Charitable Trust with our annual conference, and someone suggested that we could cycle to the conference and at the same time raise funds for our chosen charity.”
