Pair charged over drugs

A MAN and a woman have been arrested and charged with drug offences after a police raid seized heroin, cocaine and cannabis with a value of more than £3000.

Officers carried out a search of an address in Salters Road in Wallyford, East Lothian, on Thursday and recovered the drugs. A four-figure sum of cash was also seized.

A 36-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman are set to appear in court at a later date.

A police spokesman said: “We have once again used the intelligence at our disposal to recover various drugs.”
