Pair admit to YouTube assault

TWO men who filmed themselves attacking a man in the street before posting the video on YouTube have admitted the assault in court.

Ryan Currie, 19, and Frank Tominey, 21, attacked James Lavery, 31, in Glasgow's Easterhouse area in August last year.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard how the pair laughed and joked as they kicked, punched and head-butted their victim.

The video was posted on YouTube a few days after the assault under the name "Ryan & Frankie Junkie Whoopin". Currie and Tominey were arrested after police recognised them.
