Our tourism is Swede success

A DELEGATION from Sweden is to take tips from tourism chiefs in Edinburgh.

A team from the West Sweden Tourist Board – made up of MPs and government ministers – is currently in the Capital for a three-day visit.

They are hoping to get tourism tips from VisitScotland's quality assurance team, which grades thousands of bed and breakfasts, hotels and visitor attractions.

Minister for Tourism Jim Mather said: "It is fantastic to see other countries using the VisitScotland Quality Assurance Scheme as a benchmark for good practice."
