Our eco week hasn’t been a waste of time

pupils from P5 at Loretto Primary in Musselburgh took part in a litter pick within the grounds during the school’s Eco Week.

The week was declared a huge success, with various events taking place, including talks about the benefits of recycling, while pupils were tasked with making new items out of old objects.

Youngsters in P6 also designed Eco Warrior posters, while primary fours measured the circumferences of trees and primaries one and seven worked together to make animals from recycled materials.

The school’s Eco Committee said the project had been beneficial to the pupils.
