Oral surgeon opens wide

AN oral surgeon has opened his first dental practice in the Capital.

Dr David Offord’s state-of-the-art specialist referral surgery, Vermilion, in Corstorphine, benefited from a £500,000 investment.

Edinburgh University graduate Dr Offord, who has more than 17 years’ experience in the profession, scoured vacant office premises across the Lothians.

He then embarked on a complete refit, converting the space into a five-chair clinic complete with laboratory, digital radiography room and a decontamination suite.

The practice currently employs ten people.

Dr Offord said he was looking forward to getting to work in the Capital.

“I am delighted with what we have achieved,” he said.
