I WAS amused to see Claire Black’s comments on Daniel Craig’s fashion faux pas – wearing a sweater at the recent James Bond launch event.
It speaks volumes about the current 007 that he’s a nullity the moment he steps out of his tux, while that towering giant of cool, Sean Connery, could cut a dash in a terrycloth playsuit. But Craig might be forgiven for his fashion statement. Before Roger Moore hit the big time (often in a safari suit, yuk!) he’d made quite a career for himself in modelling cardigans for knitwear patterns.
