WITH Christmas over and 2015 beckoning, how much better and more fulfilling it would be for politics in Scotland with some basic changes of attitude in the parties and their followers.
If only Labour would realise and appreciate the fundamental difference in Labour voters and Labour activists.
If only the Tories would permanently throw off the “for the privileged only” image.
If only the Lib Dems would have the courage of their convictions and be clear and stand firm on their beliefs.
Most of all, if only the SNP would learn to accept the fact that they lost the referendum and adopt tolerance and accept that those who differ in their views are not mortal enemies that have to be vilified and attacked mercilessly.
